About the Event

This Annual fundraiser will help us raise money to provide students with scholarships as well as sustain the fall fellowship that we will be launching this 2020. We are trying to provide 5 students with disabilities from our Urban Core cities a scholarship! ____________________________________________________

Caneiwalk Mission: Empowering and amplifying the voices of youth with disabilities to reach their full potential by providing Innovative mentoring programs, youth leadership and development programs, Social Justice/Civic and community engagement programs. We want to motivate our disabled youth to reach their personal, educational and professional goals while guiding our public and private sectors to be more inclusive.

Caneiwalk Scholarship Purpose: The scholarship’s purpose is to give aid to students with disabilities that have been most marginalized and less likely to attend a higher education institution. Financial stress is a huge issue for most students particularly those who have a disability. We also want to challenge disabled students to believe in their dreams and aspirations because feeling empowered gives power to these students to feel capable of achieving anything that they want.
